The Property is very Poor Host is a scam Location is OK

The property is nothing like the photos We were 3 people and had one bed that is smaller then queen size and one couch that does not open as no space to open it. No mugs or glasses to drink No clean towels ( it was being dried in the dryer) Apartment was dirty No information about check in at all, only kept being told its at 4 and was requested to pay to check at 3:30, then the check in information was sent at 4:30! Was told we got upgraded but the place was much worst than the photos and Discription. Host was just trying to scam us for more money. Was told to pay 990Kr for parking and it was free on Sunday to park in the street! The blinds has halls on them Mold in the bathroom There is not even shower gel! Totally unhappy.

The location was the only positive aspect of the accommodation.

Communication with the host was difficult from the very beginning. I received no updates until I arrived at the apartment, when he told me to pick up the key directly from its hiding spot by the front door. The apartment was dirty. For example, the shower was full of mold, and the closet was used to store damp towels and used sheets from previous guests. The check-out process was similar: hide the key under a rock by the door. I never met the host during the entire stay, which makes me suspect that this accommodation is not legally registered. The worst part came afterwards: I’ve been requesting an invoice from the host for almost two months now so I can submit it to my employer. The few times he has responded, he said he would only send me the invoice if I left a review of the stay. Booking has not offered any solution either, which reflects poorly on the company. I’ve finally decided to do my part of the deal: here is the review. Will I now receive my invoice? Oslo is a beautiful city, full of charm and great places. Don’t make the same mistake I did: spend a little more and avoid problems and extortionists like this host.

From the time we arrived there we had nothing except hassle, place they offered us was not ready, 2 hours waiting in the rain and after many telephone conversations with them, managed to give us another place, again we had to wait for the key, finally we got into the apartment, it was awful, it was not anything like the place shown on the website. I never ever recommend them. The next day we happened to meet a young man and a couple outside the property, the had the same issue, they had to find another place for their holidays.

The location was good! Very easy to get to the public transport. The bathroom was also good, but I would suggest that it should have some hooks to hang towels and/or clothes. Not mandatory, but an additional option would be to provide some soap, shampoo, etc. In all the properties we have stayed in so far, these and other items were available. The kitchen was adequate. I would suggest adding a bread toaster if possible.

First of all, it is important to point out that except for the photos of the interior of the flat, all the others are from different places in Oslo, that is, the first photo that appears, suggesting (as I understood at first glance) that it is the property, is not. The property description says garden and even BBQ area, but I didn't see it. In the photos attached below you can see the building of the property as well as the supposed garden and perhaps BBQ area. The flat itself is fine, but the accessories do not do justice. The bed and sofa are not comfortable and the worst of all were the bed linen and towels. They looked very worn, mismatched and stained (photos attached too). I complained and the owner brought others that, in fact, did not differ much from the previous ones. We also had some questionable inconvenience upon arrival. Our flight would arrive earlier than the official check-in time. The Booking itself noticed this and suggested contacting the owner, who, unfortunately, did not respond. Anyway, we went to the property to ask them to at least store our luggage until check-in time (the property on the website offers Baggage Storage). Unfortunately, the owner refused to do so, so we went to the central train station to use a locker over there. Realizing how dissatisfied we were, after we checked out the owner tried to contact us a few times and offered us a free week at the same or another property he supposedly owns in exchange for a good review. Which we of course have declined because we were not interested in a free week, we were interested in being welcomed, that our suitcase could be stored until check-in time and that we didn't have to sleep in a bed with dirt-stained linen and that the towels weren't as worn out as the towels I use at home to dry my dogs.

This apartment was very clean, both the lounge and the bedroom were very small but it had a spacious bathroom Bus stop was just round the corner.

There was no toilet roll whatsoever when we arrived on a Bank Holiday not even 1 piece, no shower gel, shampoo or conditioner. These were all described as been available. I contacted the owner who delivered them over 24 hours later but by then we were about to check out. Only 2 towels were provided for 3 of us, again over 24 hours later, they were delivered. Duvet was too small for the double bed, we were given 1 duvet and a blanket plus extra bedding for the other guest. Only 1 fork in the kitchen. No hairdryer or iron as described when booking If the owner could sort these few little touches out it will be a lovely little place to stay in Oslo
