Bay view rooms at Mentone Hotel

Central location, nice touch to have basic breakfast provisions in the room - cereals, pastries, bread, coffre/tea, milk, jam - that was replaced daily. Clean room, with lovely sea view.

Very noisy with guests coming and going at all hours. No consideration for others. Paper thin door, with large gap at the bottom, didn't help. No organisation with welcome or proper instructions; we were lucky that someone was coming out of Nick's Restaurant when we arrived. No idea where to leave the key on departure, again lucky we saw a cleaner, who helped us. Would have been nice to have a proper point of contact. Overall, value for money - you get what you pay for.

Everything you need, great price, great staff and accommodated a late check out last minute which was super helpful. Continental breakfast in room alongside fridge with milk and microwave excellent touch

Far too hot in rooms - no option to turn down radiator. Even with windows open it was too warm.

We didn't like the fact there wasn't anywhere to hang our clothes. No wardrobe or even a hanging rail which we found really strange. We've never stayed in a hotel without one before.

Wind blowing through the window put towel there to stop it it got soaking the noise was unbelievable we hardly slept because of noise didnt have a good stay we did report it but the man on duty said they got no rooms to change us I do book a lot with booking .Com we didn't have a good experience this time
