Bay view rooms at Mentone Hotel

Close to All that we came for.Restaurant downstairs offering 20% discount,Sea view, nice size rooms

No lifts for pushchair or the Elderly,Signage for access to the Mentone Hotel could be better, as no Reception rather confusing

The manager was brilliant and the staff.

On Friday we had a misunderstanding of our room as we had booked a deluxe room but they gave us a box standard room. number 6. Told the owners who said booking com gave them the room number for us, my original booking was from Friday till Monday on deluxe suite and I booked extra 2 days same room. The manager managed to sort it we moved into deluxe room number 1.

My room was clean and comfortable and was replenished every day !

I liked the cleanliness of the bed linen, the shower & bathroom facilities, the added bonus of a toaster & and fridge, plus the condiments. The cleaning staff do a very good job of keeping everything clean & tidy.

The bed was too low for me & the matress was uncomfortable.

Great location, friendly staff & great restaurant downstairs which we ate at 2 nights.

Our toilet wouldn’t flush and constantly filled/dripped. I did report it but it didn’t resolve the issue. Also when I was trying to eat a meal the staff came to talk to me about the toilet, and phoned me three times which kind of disrupted my meal, and relaxation. The problem was known to the staff, and needs fixing. The coffee machine in our room, comes with no instructions and overflowed the first time, and wouldn’t beat the next time! After our first night our cereals weren’t replenished, until I asked, no mention of a cooked option for breakfast. I found the bed uncomfortable and creaky, so struggled to get a good nights sleep.

Brilliant location and great view of the seafront from our room. Convenient and great value for money with basic continental breakfast on offer.

No where to hang clothes. A few hooks on the wall near the door would have been useful.

My room was very dark even with the lights on
