"Enjoyable stay - visiting the Workhouse was reaped in architectural interest & history!"

7.0

Amazing location/historical building. Very friendly staff & artistic atmosphere. Safe staying as a Solo female traveller. Good value for £ - this Bunkhouse stay has a lot of potential. Has an on-site museum about the history of the Workhouse. Local village is walking distance and has very good facilities in terms of shopping and eating out. Easy access to local walks and visits to Lakes and Llangollen/Welshpool.

There were no other travellers during my stay - felt slightly isolating on my first day but adjusted during the stay. A work in progress in terms of facilities/services - basic conditions (but you get what you pay for)!

"Wonderful, would like to return with friends."

10.0

The history of the building, its recreation, and amazing volunteers who are helping in into the next era. I had a guided tour which was so interesting and the best part of my holiday break.

The access to the kitchen was unusual, going through the male dormitory, as there were no males it was not a problem. If all friends it would not be a problem, I only saw it as my issue because I am older.
