B&B Villa Sumrak Plitvica

We loved everything about this place. The staff were friendly, welcoming, informative and communicative. The location is amazing with the proximity to the quieter "entrance 3" of the park a phenomenal perk. While they offer what seems like a lovely dinner option, (and a delicious breakfast we took advantage of on Day 1 before the park) there is no effort to "up sell" you on it, and the thoughtful detail of fridges in each room plus a bigger fridge in the communal space for guest use makes self-catering and park picnic lunch planning very doable.

The room had a king bed and a small foam sofa like thing. Nicely furnished with wood top desk. Modern building and new bathroom with big vanity. The king bed was comfy.

The second bed/sofa was too small for adult; the size was not disclosed in description. My son had to put his suitcase at the end to prop up his feet. The food was good but too pricey. $30 USD for a small ravioli plate. Breakfast was offered at $20. They only accept cash for reasons that make no sense to me. No coffee maker in rooms or in the common room. Pretty amateurish. Nothing like B&B’s in the US.

Room was large and welcoming with a large, comfortable bed. Breakfast was outstanding with many fresh, homemade items. Availability of home-cooked dinner if pre-ordered, which we missed, but host accommodated us well by sending us to neighboring property. Lovely property in very special area close to the national park.

Stairs to enter property and also to get to room. While excellent, breakfast was an extra cost (cash) that we didn't anticipate with no options nearby.

My family of 4 stayed at Villa Sumrak for two nights to explore Lake Plitvice National Park and it ended up being such a special experience for us. It is run by a family that has been in the area for a very long time and they were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They gave us a ton of great tips for visiting the park and shared a wealth of information about the area. We decided to eat dinner at Villa Sumrak both nights because it was so delicious and convenient. An added bonus was that they had some great wine offerings as well. Highly recommend!

Soba je bila uredna, lijepo namještena, topla i ugodna za boraviti.Imate dodatnu sobu gdje možete popiti kavu ili pročitati knjigu s puno prozora iz kojih se može vidjet ostatak sela. Krajolik je lijep šumovit ugodan za pješačenje, trčanj ili vožnja biciklom.Ulaz u plitvice je blizu 10 min. sa autom, ali imate i sporedni ulaz 5min. hodanja za koji su treba već kupljeni karte "on line". Domaćini su predivni ljudi, mogu vam dati sve informacije koje su vam potrebne za odlazak u park a i one koje nisu vezane uz njega.Pripremaju ugodan doručak, ručak većeru s puno okusa i svježine u njima Dali bi volio vratiti se kao gost sljedeći puta, da jako bi volio.

Family run made you feel like you were visiting relatives. Great location to the park. Quiet, beautiful surroundings. Wonderful hospitality.
