Property Notes

To get to the property, if coming from the North (e.g. Zagreb), exit the highway in Karlovac, then continue in the direction of Slunj and Grabovac for 1.2 mi. Before the bridge on the River Korana, turn right onto road 42 in the direction of Plaški and continue for 2.5 mi. At the junction in the Poljanak village take the road to Plitvica village. Then follow the Villa Sumrak signposts. If coming from the South (e.g. Zadar or Split through Korenica), go through the main entrance of the Plitvice Lakes National Park and continue for 3.7 mi. Turn left 1640 feet after passing the blue bridge over Korana River and go uphill to road 42 in the direction of Plaški. Continue for 2.5 mi and turn to the Plitvica village at the junction at Poljanak village. Then follow the Villa Sumrak signposts. If coming from the West (e.g. Rijeka or Istria), take the highway to Zagreb until you reach Bosiljevo, then turn to the direction of Split. Exit at Ogulin and take the direction to Plaški. Continue for 2.5 mi and turn to the Plitvica village at the junction at Poljanak village. Then follow the Villa Sumrak signposts.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. "klasse, jederzeit gerne wieder"

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, kleines sehr sauberes Familienhotel. Die Lage ist ganz in der Nähe von einem Nebeneingang des Parks am Bootstopp P3 mit kostenlosem Parkplatz und abends nach ca. 18.30h kann man dort auch ohne Ticket noch mal zu den lower lakes gelangen, tagsüber wird kontrolliert. Auto kann auch am Hotel kostenlos geparkt werden. Zu Fuß bis zum Eingang des Parks ca. 15 Minuten. Das Hotel bietet Abendessen an, was wir aber nicht versucht hatten. Frühstück muss man extra zahlen für 20 Euro. Fand ich ein wenig teuer, auch wenn das Frühstück nicht schlecht war. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und die Möbel waren neu, das Bett bequem, die Kissen nicht bequem. Im Hotel haben wir eine ausführliche Erklärung für den Parkbesuch bekommen, das war sehr hilfreich.

Frühstück sollte im Preis inkludiert sein, 20 Euro zu teuer

Csodálatos helyen van a szállás, a kevésbé frekventált 3-as parkolóhoz közel, amit akár gyalog is meg lehet közelíteni. Ízlésesen berendezett, tiszta apartmant kaptunk, megfelelő felszereltséggel. Az apartman kertje is nagyon szép. A szállásadónk, Matija nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt.

Nem volt ilyen, a mi igényeinknek megfelelt a szállás. Lehet vacsorázni, reggelizni a szálláson, de ha valaki nem ott szeretne, ahhoz autóba kell ülni. Nekünk ez nem volt gond, mert így csendes, nyugodt volt a szállás környéke, tele szép szálláshelyekkel.

Our room was new, nicely furnished, comfortable, clean, and very quiet. The young owner was very nice. It is very close to Entrance 3 of the park.

It is about a 20-minute drive from Entrance 1 of the park.

Great location, quiet, clean, modern, all amenities were provided. Our host was gracious and accommodating. Dinner and breakfast were added options, delicious and well worth the costs. This place has been the highlight of our trip.
