DEZABliss...beautiful environment, stunning luxury cottage, birds, game, hikes, canoe, swimming and spoiled with bread daily and a celebratory surprise.

DEWir waren im "Old Pumphouse" untergebracht, auf der Buchungsseite als Luxus-Suite bezeichnet, war aber tatsächlich ein Haus in Alleinlage. Die einsame Lage etwa 2-3 km entfernt vom Haupthaus, das wirklich luxuriöse Apartment direkt am Fluss, ein Abkühlungspool, der beheizbar ist und vom Personal bei Ankunft befeuert wird, die Natur mit Flussidylle, Tieren, Kanu, die Landschaft insgesamt. Selbstfahrer Game-Drive haben wir ohne jede Anleitung auf dem Gelände gemacht. Zebras, Wasserböcke, Njalas, Impalas, Leguane, Vögel, Wasserschildkröten.
Nichts war schlecht, die wenigen Bilder geben nicht ansatzweise die Schönheit wieder. ABER: Das Old Pumphouse ist nur mit 4WD wirklich erreichbar. Das gilt auch für die Game-Drives, die man selbst machen kann. Darauf wurde gar nicht hingewiesen, ist aber mega toll.
ZAEverything. The setting is idyllic and the surroundings are beyond beautiful. It cannot be beaten as a place to unwind. Everything is of excellent quality and the bed is very comfortable. Simphiwe's welcome set the tone for a great few days. The complimentary roosterkoek the first evening was delicious and such a welcoming touch.
What follows detracts in no way from the enjoyment of the stay. An aircon would have been welcome: the room can become uncomfortably hot in the afternoon (which is countered by enjoying the shade outside or cooling off in the hot tub if not heated yet). A toaster would have complimented the well stocked kitchenette perfectly. The absence of cellphone signal and wifi may be seen as a plus depending on the purpose of the stay. A motorised main gate as opposed to manually opening and closing it would be a big plus too. None of this will cause me not to visit again.
ZAZAVery comfortable, beautiful, clean . Friendly welcoming staff with warm rostile which were very nice and warm . It's a very romantic place to be .
