Beautiful and clean. Quiet, but close to the action

Here is the message I wrote in their guestbook before my departure: Away for weeks from my own home in Binghamton, NY to stay and lovingly care for my mother, 80, in Western MA, I unexpectedly found bliss, peace of mind, aesthetically gorgeous beauty in this TRUE home away from home. I felt as if I had walked into a 3-dimensional painting, a work of art, in which I could touch and use everything. Thanks to this place where I could rest in mind, body, and spirit, I feel recharged to enjoy the Mass Poetry Festival.

What a comfortable stay. Lots of wonderful little design touches that made up an aesthetic that really matched our own. It felt both elevated, and familiar. We enjoyed spending the rainy day sipping coffee from the nespresso, working on a Lego flower arrangement we'd brought with us, but delighted to also find a few board games provided. In the late evening we enjoyed wine from the market nearby, watching holiday movies on the couch. The shower felt luxurious, and soap, shampoo and conditioner were provided as a nice touch. We appreciated the location, too, as it was a short, pleasant walk to the main attractions of Salem. We have visited Salem many times, so it was wonderful to be off the beaten path in a quiet area, and get to walk by quite a few historic homes and soak in the ambiance. The host was incredibly responsive and genuinely cared about our stay. Even going above and beyond to call the cleaning crew back after we arrived, after a rare miscommunication with them left the host worried they didn't get a chance to thoroughly clean before we got there. (To everyone's credit, it did seem clean to us, already!)

Nothing we didn't like! But, if you cook a full meal in the kitchen, it does have almost everything you need, but it's BYOSO (bring your own spices and oil!)... and can opener :) Also, they mean what they say about parking in the street if you have a larger car. It can be a tight squeeze!

EVERYTHING! We loved the shower the water gets so hot!!! We enjoyed the kitchen and living room area and the pillows on the bed were so comfy!!!!!!

The location was great. I wish we had known sooner that there is bike/walking path behind the unit. I think this is an important amenity to highlight.

It was a really cute, clean apartment.

The train going by all hours of the day and night. The bed wasn't comfortable.

Very clean and homey and was walking distance from everything!
