Sparks - Turnbridge Guest House

Lovely spacious apartment big enough for 4 but great for the 2 of us. Beautiful location on the canal and next to a lovely pub.

There was a microwave but no plates or cutlery so cannot eat a meal unless having a takeaway. The stairs were steep so not good for people with mobility problems.

Spacious room, comfortable bed and quick heating

No coffee table Small TV which was too high on the wall. Shower curtain too short

There wasn’t any. The pub next door was shut in the evening and didn’t open until 11 in the morning.

I’m 74 and reasonably good health but there were two very big iron gates to open and shut which was a real struggle.

Excellent accomation close to town centre and football club

Excellent location to Turf Moor football club. Room was nice and warm and lovely shower. Great chippy nearby.

The self enclosed accommodation was clean, well appointed and very reasonably priced. Great location for the purpose of the trip. Staff member I spoke to was really helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

I’m being very picky because it really was great but the bedding was scratchy, the mattress a little lumpy and the towels mismatched and scratchy from being well washed over time but really, that’s being overly critical.

Everything, property was immaculate and very cheap
