We booked at the last minute....arrived late at night. Christine came out to meet us and showed us to our room Most graciously. The units can best be described as rustic and compact. At first we were a bit concerned, however, that all was changed after a quiet night's sleep and the sumptuous breakfast prepared (to our requests) the next morning by our host. Christine is a delight. A MOST kind and considerate host. As a host myself with Air B&B, I know what it requires to provide the best experience for guests. Christine is all of that and more!!!! If you are looking for five star accommodations....this may not be the place for you. But, if you are seeking an authentic and personal experience I cannot recommend Bed and Breakfast STC more highly. Thank you sooooo much Christine.

WOW, this is a GREAT place to stay if you are NOT a tourist and really do want some privacy. It is away from the center of things in Udon Thani. On the way from the airport to the B&B there is a 7-11 for miscellaneous things we all want/need and forget... there is a bank for the exchange of currency with a rate which better than at the airport... and there is a Farmer's Market if you want to buy some local fruits and vegetables! Each meal is made to order... there is a pool for swimming... there is a lake for fishing... there is all the walking you would want to do. There is a rooster to wake you up every morning so if you are a country guy like me this is a very nice; but, if you are a city guy this might be a bit of a surprise... Ha. ;-) The best part of the whole stay is the Owner - Christine is like your favorite Grandmother who really cares about being sure all is OK from the time she personally picks you up at the airport... to the time she takes preparing your favorite meals each day... to the time she returns you to the airport to send you off with a BIG HUG and a FOND FAREWELL. This place is not for everyone but for the ones who like personal attention and heart-felt warmth this is the real deal. I will return here again when in the area and I hope you have a chance to do the same, even if only for one or two nights! :-)

I had some jobs then went to the hostel late. However the staffs still waited for me with a warm welcome. And I also checked out in the early morning, thank for the staffs again for preparing breakfast for me. :)
