We enjoyed everything other than how dirty the place was.

The lodge was dirty like it hadn’t been cleaned from previous people. I have photos of it from when I arrived and I chose to clean it myself so I didn’t hassle anybody else. All the cutlery wasn’t cleaned. Dead wasps in the corner of the room. I also made a mistake with the booking and booked for 2 nights which I meant to of done for 3 nights and contacted them to sort this problem and they said I had to pay over £200 for the extra night when it was £450 for 2 nights and then also the same price for the 3 but was told to pay extra.

"Lovely lodge but needs to bring back real glasses to drink out of, plastic for inside is not good."

Very relaxing and great views. The lodge I had was lovely and spacious.

They have now taken all the drinking glasses out of the lodges. I totally understand we need plastic when outside or in the hot tub but when inside I like to use real glass. So if you wanted to pour a pint you have only got a plastic wine glass. So you need to pack your own glass if you want one which really defeats the object of it being a fully equipped lodge. The manager tried to tell me all lodges do this now but this is the only place I have ever seen it being done. I go to about ten different lodges/ sites a year so that's just not true. When we arrived the table had been wiped when it was cleaned but it was all on the chairs and floor which wasn't good..

How big and clean the home was, and how friendly the staff were. Also how quick they sorted stuff out.

They didn't have oven mitts to get the trays out the oven and the tea towel was far to thin. Also said robes were provided for the hot tub but there wasn't any.

"Peaceful break away"

Amazing long weekend with my family this place is beautiful the lodges are to the highest standard the staff here are so accommodating especially Scott the manager Micheal the bar boy and the chef who made me and my family the best roast Sunday dinner I’ve ever tasted, the grounds are beautiful hot tub so clean and well kept and the sky at night is beautiful we will be back in June for another stay ❤️

Everything about the lodge was great, good location, nice and peaceful but only a ten minute drive to theme park, beach etc
