Large and Luxurious at the Lake

The photos aren’t as good as the place itself. It is very big and everything is very beautifully modern.

There are 2 downsides to this accommodation: 1. The oven didn’t seem to work as well and it took 1.5 hours to cook some fries 2. The mosquitoes are HORRIBLE, close all windows as soon as the sun goes down otherwise you will be eaten alive

We liked how spacious it was and had enough room for all of us! The fact it was close to a playground is a bonus for the kids that travelled with us

The house is nestled in Kinloch, 20 to 25 mins from Taupo towncentre. It's an amazing location! The house itself is located near a small lake surrounded by mountains and a park for kids just outside. It's absolutely stunning, especially the sunrise! It has all the facilities and comfortably fits 3 families with kids. There is a fully equipped kitchen, while the utensils are old, it's fine for a few days use. The outdoor area next to the kitchen has rolling blinds and a fireplace, which was really nice to sit by at night. 8 seater dinning table along with some bar stools were enough for whole of our group. The property has gas heating, which ensures you have hot water the whole day. In total, we had an amazing time and will definitely visit again 😀

There were only 2 things we didn't like a little, but they were not a big issue. 1: The cleanliness was not up to the mark, mostly in the kitchen, but it was nothing major. 2: The mattress on the bed was very soft and made it uncomfortable while turning in the bed, especially with kids.
