Montalbano House - Casa Vacanze

Stefania was amazing. After meeting me and getting settled, she took me to the grocery market, made recommendations, especially about awesome cheese, helped me check out, and helped get the groceries back to Montalbano House. I speak almost no Italian, so having someone beside me, boosted my confidence greatly. We agreed to meet the next morning to go to the Cemetery and Church as I was researching family members. Using the translator app, we made good progress. She was kind and so helpful with her time and energy!! As there is no public transportation and I do NOT drive, she would have taken me to the Palermo airport over an hour away in each direction. She wasn't available at the time I needed, so she made arrangements with Alan King, an English man, to drive me there. He was wonderful, knowledgeable about the best way to get there, and we comfortably discussed everything from politics to orange orchards.

Everything was absolutely perfect and so well thought out and welcoming. It also was amazingly clean, and I am very picky.

Perfect place in very typical small town,nice people at accomodation and in the town,very nice atmosphere.
