Room K Divine Villa and Resorts

Very sketchy neighborhood, Uber driver warned me against going out at night. When I arrived, key was not in the lock box, as promised in the instructions, so I had to wait several minutes until someone opened the door. From the inside. I didn't realize it was basically a small apartment, with other people staying there, and food I could not eat. I did not have a key with which I could lock my room, and after waiting for a little while for the key the person on the other end of the phone promised he would bring, I decided to leave. I booked a room in an actual hotel. This was an expensive lesson.

This place was Grand Theft Auto Boulevard. Prostitution, odd things happening on the sidewalks that are R rated, selling of drugs was happening on this street everyday from 7am to 3am. THIS PLACE IS VERY UNSAFE. It is a façade and the owner didn’t care when I told him how unsafe it was. He said I can’t control the people. Well sir you can control not lying about the area and the room itself on postings.

It was a good location and spacious, could have been just a tad cleaner though. Otherwise no complaints !

The guest house is in an unsafe area. You can barely find parking, there are cockroaches on the staircase and just the whole house is not clean. When you close the bathroom door from the inside you are unable to open. Even our room was not clean too. The people from other rooms where making a lot of noise.

The place was in an unwelcoming area. You had to push really hard on the room door just to get it to close. I didn't realize the bathroom and shower were also shared along with the dining/common area. The people in the other rooms were loud. The good thing I can say is that when i contacted the property they were quick to respond and were respectful.

The host is a very nice gentleman. He replied to my questions quickly and kindly. This resort is a single-family house with a very strong smoke smell in the hallway and my room. My boy’s asthma was triggered by the strong odor. Some people were making noise until 2 a.m. The bed was very tall and uncomfortable. I barely got any sleep because of the smell, the noise, and my concern for my boy.
