"Perfect stay in Galway"

We couldn't believe our luck when this beautiful house was available to stay in during one of the busiest weekends of the year in Galway. The accommodation was absolutely perfect, spotless, very homely, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The location is perfect for walking to the city centre. The place was warm and had extremely comfortable beds.

"The location and house were lovely but the lack of response from the host was not satisfactory"

Excellent location and the house was very well presented and clean.

It was advertised as private parking, which is misleading as there is actually no private parking. You have to pay for parking, at the pay station from 0830-1830 each day. We were informed that there would be parking permits at the house but there wasn't. The house was very cold on the first night and the heating system didn't work. We contacted the host/Short Stays representative, and he came over later but was unable to remedy the issue. The next day we found out that the fuel tank was empty as the Oil Co turned up and filled the tank. Obviously the host didn't check the oil tank as he would have discovered it was empty. He did say on the first night however, that if we got a hotel, they would reimburse us. It was approx 2030, so we declined the offer of having to look for a hotel so late. The next day, after we got the heating to work, I messaged the host to enquire about getting a reimbursement for the Thursday night and refunding our parking costs. He responded with a generic message about check out and we haven't heard anything from him since. This has been very disappointing

"Very pleasant stay"

Location was close to Galway square and was also quiet at night. Good amount of space for a group/family heading to find accomadtion in Galway City. Facilities were also handy and kept extremely clean. Would definitely go here again.
