Beachside Motel - Amelia Island

Nice place! Nice pool and great beach! Clean and safe. Great location with a restaurant right across the street!

Hotel was right on beach.

Room wasn't clean when we checked in. Room had a really bad chemical perfume smell. I had to keep the door open anytime I was in the room and had issues breathing. They said the toilet paper holder was broken (off the wall and in pieces) and charged me $50. The toilet paper holder was not broken when we checked out of the room.

We loved the outdoor amenities! Very close to the beach and the pool was lovely. The restaurant across the street was good too! The staff member working in the office the weekend we were there was very helpful!

Hard for the uber to find the right driveway. Wish it was in a little bit more of a walkable area.

We told front desk the Bathroom sink didn't have hot water no response until we checked out and the she acted like I was lying! She said funny everyone else has hot water I said well our bathroom sink did not , we didn't complain but ridiculous never came and checked. Room smells like mold I know it's a really old Motel but you smell it as soon as you walk in. TV WAS THE SMALLEST WE EVER SEEN ...There is a sign RULES you can heat or cook Fish or shrimp or Bacon in room because you will stink it up ! No dead bolt the original Door lock from 1970's... Beds were ancient and creeky YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR !
