L'Aurora Azzurra -Luxury Suites Sorrento coast

Loved the location. Amazing air conditioning. Locals were so friendly. Loved the washing facilities and the wonderful array of snacks made available as well as Prosecco. Spotlessly clean. Fabulous location close to the train station.

Great location, good restaurants and cafes within a few minutes walk. Comfortable bed and pillows, washing machine and dryer, quite clean apart from the floors, a bottle of Prosecco and snacks supplied which was thoughtful.

We were left waiting in the very hot weather for 20 minutes in the palazzo for someone to turn up with the keys which was unpleasant. Especially as I had advised what time we would arrive. There was only one wine glass, no bottle opener or cork screw and when I messaged the contact person she said she would get back to me and then didn’t bother which meant we had to go out again to find a warm bottle without a cork. Very annoying! After walking barefoot inside the apartment our feet were black, they clearly hadn’t been mopped for some time. The freezer was very iced up, we had to turn the fridge off and defrost it before we could use it. No tea towels, these turned up (left hanging on the outside of the door) not long before we left. A light was turned on outside the door (right next to our bed) on our second night which kept us awake. Not huge problems but when you add them together…. Considering they call themselves luxury apartments they fall somewhat short.

The location was good 5 minutes from the station and located on a lovely square. Plenty of good food and drink places within a 5 minute walk. Approx 40 minute walk into sorrento. The host met us on at the property and gave us local information and a welcome hamper which was a nice touch. The room had a bed, wardrobe, kitchette, fridge, washer, dryer and private bathroom.

The only thing that was a slight issue was that our room had a connecting door to the next room and when our neighbours came back late one night we could hear every word, luckily the remaining nights we had new quiet neighbours.

Apartment was nice and clean. We got bottle of sparkling wine so that was a really nice gesture! Bathroom was equipped with many amenities.

Location, size, price. Has a working lift which is nice because it's on the second floor. Good AC. Comfy beds. Good communication with host, complimentary breakfast and drinks.

Wifi was very slow, I wasn't able to backup any photos and YouTube/Netflix streamed at 480p. Both the coffee table and the dining table were very wobbly, like they were poorly assembled IKEA furniture. The lamp and wardrobe still had protective plastic on them from when they were new. The apartment feels empty of furniture. This becomes a problem when the microwave and the coffee machine can't reach any power points. So we had to put them on the floor to use them. A basic side table or something would fix this. The main dining table is almost entirely taken up by the complementary breakfast and drink options. Couch needed a cushion or two  The bathroom door slides open on its own weight. The lock doesn't work so it's unavoidable. We had to use a random item to lean against it to keep it closed. The shower doesn't drain fast enough so the basin fills up meaning short showers.

La propreté de l appartement n était pas celle attendue. Le manque de vaisselle (plat, saladier, 2 mugs pour 4, pas de tire bouchon etc) Une seule prise pour le micro-ondes et le réfrigérateur L odeur constante d égout dans la salle de bain

Clementine took good care of us! They went above and beyond to welcome us, even having a basket of goodies when we arrived. They were very responsive to any reds and the place was clean and close to train and bus station.
