Corte Roveggia - Bilocale Monet

Nice and cozy, on an excellent location between Verona and the airport. The apartment has two ACs, which came handy in the recent heat wave. The terrace was perfect for chilling in the evening. I liked the morning hello from the neighbors’ chickens :)🐓

The beds on the ground floor are a bit spartan.

We stayed here on 23rd of August for 1 night only. The place itself had a gated car park which was a big plus, if not actually the biggest. The overall appearance of the apartment was the same as in the advert. A big plus was the air con system and the fact that we managed to get a good sleep so we can hit the road early in the morning. The place was big and fairly ok equipped but there was a lot of potential to make it better, warmer and cleaner. Now the interesting part... When we entered the property, there was a noticeable garbage bin smell in the hallway leading to the apartment. In the apartment, on the ground floor in the living/dining area, there were loads of flies and the guy who handed us the keys said he left the windows open when he ventilated the apartment but said we could get rid of them by using the electric zapper/racket designed to kill flies/mosquitos, etc. ''Nice gadget, quality bit of kit'' which did the job and was fun to use in the end, ironically speaking, but come on.... what on earth was that? Nobody was expecting a luxury hotel with a 5-star Michelin-rated restaurant, but this was unbelievable.... and not in a positive way! Not that we are planning to come back to Verona anytime soon, but if that would happen, I would avoid this place at all costs! I advise anyone to steer away!

The house is very beautiful, with private courtyard. Staying here was comfortable for 3 people. Private terrace is huge bonus. While we were sitting there, two chicken came to greet us :) The owner was very nice.

The apartment was clean,the beds were comfy and the terrace was amazing. We loved it and we would definitely repeat it. Francesco was very nice and helpful,also, the check in was easy.

Nice and quite place, with good location in order to reach easily the centre of Verona by bus. The house was clean and the host calm and kind
