Molly's Cabin, Countryside Stay

Mollys cabin was fabulous, quirkily designed, with a huge living space and bedroom. Every detail was thought of to a very high standard. The bed was beautiful and comfortable.

We stayed as an overnight stay to break a long journey and Molly’s cabin surpassed our expectations. If we had been staying longer the sofa and arm chair were extremely low and the sofa difficult to get in and out of. The fact it is on the flight path from East Midlands airport needs to be mentioned as it does create noise at night.

There are various cabins and a larger house on this former farm. All are very stylish refurbished into a real pleasant place to be. We were in Molly Cabin.

There are three things that should have been mentioned more clearly in the description. - it is located very very close to the airfield, planes are right above your head and very low. In the deception is mentioned “occasionally“? It went on till 4.30am and started again at 6.15. -it is mentioned the shampoo is from a very nice brand Aesop, however we noticed it wasn’t Aesop like. That was later confirmed when we came across large bottles of Cien (Lidl own brand) with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in a bathroom cupboard. So the Aesop was refilled with Lidl. - on Bonington farm more accommodations are being built. (Fair enough as it is a lovely place) however we had to enjoy the sound of circular saws, angle grinders and hammering during the day. It would have been nice if this was known beforehand.

Lovely location, perfect for visiting Nottingham university vet school.

It's definitely the place to go if you like something out of the ordinary. Lovely set up and fantastic space with a lovely quirky kitchen, a fantastic bathroom, and awesome spacious bedroom. Situated close to places to go out to eat or drink. Would I recommend it, yes, and would I come back - definitely yes.
