Further from the city center as one may think

The main advantages are the position, the easy of entrance and the smooth and clear communication with hosts. Very nice transformed apartment, from an old communist typical one in a good looking and modern place. But this transformation has some costs, the relatively open kitchen that is super nice has in same time a quite noisy fridge. And in the silence of the night, is easy to hear it when the engine starts as the living is also open to the kitchen. The fact that apartment has its own heating system is a great plus for a city that has always issues with hot water in the summer (and heating in the winter). Also, the last floor has that advantage of not being disturbed by the neighbors from the top.

Totally independent of the place, the extreme heat of Bucharest in July is asking for air conditioning, and because of that, I was always ending my nights on the living room sofa where the air was breathable.

The apartment was very clean and nice. Close to the central train station. Comfortable apartment for a couple.

The apartment is spacious with a good kitchen and dining area plus an enclosed balcony. The TV is very large and the lounge is comfortable. There is also a desk if you need to get some work done. Location was good- the building is big and seems a bit intimidating but the owner sent very clear instructions about which entrance to use and how to open the apartment so that was helpful. The folding bed in the living room was comfortable.

The air conditioning is not very effective and is located in the living room. The cold air does not circulate easily into the bedroom. An additional fan in the bedroom would be helpful.
