Heart of the beautiful Old Town

The apartment was beautiful fully equipped but lacking cups could only find . Beds where very comfortable and the apartment was lovely and warm

The noise from the pub across the street was awful especially on Saturday people playing trumpets and thumping music. The bar downstairs put their tables outside our apartment door which was very inconsiderate knowing people where staying there.

Spacious TV room, kitchen and bedrooms

Very steep narrow stairs to second level flat; carrying a 20kg suitcase up the stairs was dangerous; extremely noisy location above bars; only one bathroom and not 2 as advertised; both bedrooms located third level while bathroom was on level 2 - not ideal; no parking contrary to what was advertised; TV faulty; heating could not be turned on; flat not suitable for seniors or physically weak

This apartment is right in the heart of the old town with lots close by to do. Everything is an easy walking distance. It’s fun being in the middle of everything. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to cook several family meals without any issues. The apartment has an old charm to it and it was a wonderful experience for our kids after they got over the initial shock. We enjoyed our time there and I would definitely book again if we ever go to Hastings.

It’s noisy in the evenings because of all the pub activity but we got used to it and it didn’t keep us awake. It was also difficult having a family and no place to wash clothes, although there was lots of drying rack space (it just takes a while to dry). Parking was a hassle and we routinely ended up having to park at a car park about .5 miles away. Occasionally, we could snag a free parking spot closer. Some evenings, the pub below set out tables directly in front of the apartment door and we’d have to ask people to move so we could access our door.

Location was great and host was very helpful throughout.

Maybe advising potential guests of the steepness and narrow aspect to the entry stairs would be helpful.

Location was ideal for a short stay. It was very clean. Advance information about the surrounding premises was much appreciated, so no surprises.
