The Old Barn at Bosillion House

The Old Barn is beautifully tucked away behind Bosillion House with access to a lovely garden area with seating. All we could hear were the birds. The lounge/bedroom is spacious and comfortable with beautiful decor and nice finshing touches such as the large doormat with shoe bench so you can sit down to change your shoes.

There's no cooker or sink in the kitchenette so you can only prepare basic meals and you have to carry the washing up bowl to the bathroom. That said it's not a big problem once you get used to it!

The only draw back was the lack of kitchen but we understood why

Pretty property and location, well situated amongst local amenities. The property served us well, particularly on the first day of arrival.

Coffee pods rationed to only 2 per day. I was encouraged to buy my own. The shower cut out twice in our stay, which set off an alarm. Thw second time the alarm was sounding for 30 minutes and I couldn't have a shower before driving 7hrs home. The water situation was a little concerning. We were given bottled spring water on the first ans second day and instructed not to drink the tap water but then on the last day we're given no bottles water. The owners were quite absent. We only ever saw Guy. I personally don't think we got value for money based on where we have stayed before and the facilities we have experienced elsewhere. Leaving a review as the owners ignored my messages.

Sehr liebevoll ausgestattet... man fühlt sich sehr willkommen und findet auch schon Tee, Milch, Kaffee, Brot...für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt vor. Für die Zubereitung von kleinen Speisen gibt es auch eine Mikrowelle. Guy und Nicola sind wunderbare Gastgeber und jederzeit für Fragen da, sollte man etwas benötigen.

The Old Barn è una struttura molto ampia con ingresso dedicato. Entrando vi è un bel soggiorno con zona notte, mentre nel corridoio attiguo sono presenti il bagno e una stanza attrezzata con bollitore, tostapane, frigo e micronde. Per la colazione erano messi a disposizione pane, latte, te, caffè, biscotti e marmellate. I proprietari sono stati molto gentili e hanno anche due splendidi gatti molto coccoloni. Ci siamo trovati davvero bene e la consiglieremo sicuramente!

Zoek niet verder! Deze plek is ideaal: de verdieping die je ter beschikking hebt is ruim, met aandacht ingericht met alles wat je nodig hebt en dan ook de super grote tuin die voor jou is! De vriendelijke host en de super lieve huisdieren:)
