No one was at the property on arrival, but we made contact waited a few minutes then the hosts arrived, we were then welcomed, shown the apartment and handed over the key's. I have to say this was one of the nicest apartments we have stayed in , it was modern , spotlessly clean, bed's were great, even mosquito nets on all windows, lift, near station very comfortable absolutely Wonderfull ! Only slight negative was Hot Water could have been Hotter, we Almohad problem with the lock on the entry gate. Please don't let these negatives put you off, this is a wonderful apartment.

The hosts had been trying to ring us before we arrived. It's very difficult to estimate time of arrival the you have just left the Airport, traveled on a bus to station, bought tickets, found platform, waited for train, ten traveled some 25miles to destination, found apartment etc but we arrived on time..

We enjoyed our stay at Mary Blue very much. The town is near Pompeii and it is less touristy than those on the Amalfi Coast. The apartment has everything you need for a holiday. It is on the 5th floor and the lift takes you there. There are lots of small shops, cafes, restaurants and takeaways just around the corner. For us the parking space was important and the owner has a garage 200m from the apartment where a small European car can easily be. The kitchen is simple with a gas stove, microwave, kettle and even an espresso machine. The terrace overlooks the neighboring building and is just big enough for 2 chairs. The hosts family are friendly and halesome. The son talks English and answer right away, when contacted by WhatsApp.

The hosts met us at the property and were very helpful, explaining how everything worked. The apartment was clean, well decorated and well equipped for a short break. We were very grateful for the air conditioning as the temperature was over 30 centigrade. The hosts had been very thoughtful, providing us with a variety of breakfast items, bottled water and a small bottle of champagne. Bakers and grocers shops were all within a short walk. Castellammarre Terme train station was about five minutes away; from here trains were available to Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius. The funicular was also at the train station and we enjoyed a ride up the mountain and a walk through the woods, with stunning views of the area. We would certainly stay here again if we visit the area. We would recommend this apartment for couples visiting this locality.
