"Cute little cottage."

The property was a lovely size. Perfect for a couple and a dog (although no garden). But we didnt find that a problem. The bedroom and bathroom was nice and roomy and the kitchen had everything you needed.

The electric went off a few times in the area (but nit for long). Property would have benefited from some new, moppable flooring downstairs as it was work and tatty and not dog friendly, especially coming in off the main road. If you popped out in your car, someone soon pinched your parking spot.

"We will certainly return if the TV is sorted"

Very clean , warm and cozy

The heating was difficult to work, the,TV needs sorting especially winter months........we had torrential rain and no option but to stay in.......I am 62 and my husband is 78 yrs so we didn't manage to get the TV working......we just wanted terrestrial channels, BBC etc....the shower tray is quite slippy, potentially dangerous

Perfect for a couple and our dog

The host kindly left chocolates by the bed and a washing machine tab on the work tops. As this is a dog friendly property this was a problem! Our dog promptly ate the chocolates - not good for her but I did manage to move the tab!

"An enjoyable stay, close to local shops, amenities and local attractions. Shame about the dogs!!"

The property was very well presented and had everything that we needed for our stay. Thank you.

It may be worth speaking to the Neighbours. I appreciate that this is really out of your control, but the dogs were very noisy next door, and for long periods!! This may put people off re-booking!

"A very enjoyable Bank holiday weekend exploring the Peak District"

The property has good quality furnishings and has an excellent bathroom and kitchen. For the two of us and dog it was ideal for exploring the local area and into the Peak District. New Mills is a quaint place with many good pubs and a really good Italian only a short walk from the property. Much appreciated was the nice bottle of wine and dog treats!
