nothing really, metal roads are annoying for me, but then I expected that given the remote location so no issue.

Absolutely LOVED our stay at Lower Saddle Views over the weekend. We had all the essentials to make our stay comfortable and our hosts were only a text away if we needed anything. This is the perfect city escape being only an hour out of Auckland, and I still can’t get over the view. You’d never know home was so close. Make sure to sit outside once the moon is out to experience a glorious display of stars and relish in just how quiet the location is. There is a lovely fire pit just up the hill for roasting marshmallows and the outdoor table & chairs is perfect for dinner. This is the perfect spot for a short weekend away. We will absolutely be going back- thank you Sarah, Joe & kiddies!!
