Manhattan Towers 1 bedroom flat

This was obviously once a moderately luxurious flat, despite the weird little impractical triangular shaped bedroom and bathroom. But it is very badly maintained, with many things not working, and the owner uncooperative with correcting problems. Carpeting was filthy and window drapes were falling apart. TV had no antenna connected. Access card to the parking garage did not work, and it took many days of pestering the owner before they finally replaced it. For a 2-week stay they supplied less than a half roll of toilet paper, and no clothes washing powder for the provided washing machine. Water supply was shut off during the day, every day. Carpet was curled up at edges creating a dangerous tripping hazard. Microwave did not work at first, but they did replace it. Cooktop hood/fan did not work. It even took multiple phone calls to get a working Wi-Fi password. The biggest problem was the uncooperative owner. When trying to get a working parking access card issued, the owner tried to pass the buck to everybody else - the building manager, building security, the body corporate (condo association) - instead of taking ownership of the problem and just solving it! All in all, a miserable travel experience. Not recommended.
