Shocking customer service. The host ignores you when you ring and when you raise a query they block you! The place is run down and filthy. Chips all over the walls, broken cutlery, lifting to carpets, dirty bathrooms, kitchen is filthy, the walls into the property from the corridor and covered in dirt and ruined clothes. The cleaner also let herself back in once we’d checked in without permission. Shocking. The experience was made worse by how reluctant the host is to engage in queries you raise.

Location was great. Could walk everywhere. Spacious accommodation, great for a group of friends. The beds were comfy. There was a car park 2 minutes walk away. We had a key issue upon arrival for one of the bedrooms but the host was brilliant and it was sorted so quickly. Was impressed and would travel here again.

Host was cool with a lot of stuff and responded to messages within hours. The place was very well situated, and everything we needed that weekend was a walk away. Check-in was entirely contactless, and instructions on the day were very thorough. Everything was well set up for everyone to go in and make themselves at home. Each suite has its own room key, so it's easier for different cliques in a large group to have their own space. The suites themselves are also very spacious and can sleep at least three each with various bedding arrangements. Suite 1 is the largest, with two double beds and a sofa. I appreciated the complementary towels, linen and working toilet and shower. Everyone in the group left satisfied and thankful for the stay. If we end up going to another event in the area, I will definitely consider returning to this.

The biggest issue we had was with the downstairs combi sink/toilet. At some point it stopped being able to flush, even while the tap was running. I managed to get in touch with someone about this before I checked out. They said it was ok and appreciated me bringing it up, so that was a relief. There are two sets of stairs to climb in order to access the entire apartment. Not ideal if you have severe mobility issues. Window in suite 4 was very difficult to lift open, and I was concerned that the small latches holding the window open would give in any second. Thankfully they did not. The support for the single bed in suite 4 fell through in the night, showing some signs of wear. After some coordination, we were able to hoisten it back into place.

Great price, plenty of space, and lots of items provided, such as iron, kettles, cookers, etc. We were very surprised at how large the rooms were. There was plenty of entertainment around us. We loved the tv's everywhere and the sofas in each room along with tables and chairs to eat at. The complimentary option of tea coffee, ect, was fabulous and much needed. We really couldn't believe how cheap it was to stay here.

The downstairs toilet didn't flush, and one of the beds wasn't very clean. Sheets on it smelled a bit funky, i think that bed may have been accidentally missed during cleaning. It really wasn't a big issue as we were happy to share beds with each other. The beds were not the most comfy, but we slept perfectly fine and would happily stay again

Very shabby, tiny shower rooms, dirty, mouldy windows, bed fell apart, lock missing, kettles in rooms but no water or mugs. Very disappointed. Poor value for money.

The Location was great, 10 minute walk into the shopping area, and parking just round the corner, which was very reasonably priced.

Rooms need a lot of TLC, bed slats falling out, dirty light fittings, no draws/wardrobes to put anything. 2 showers, could only use 1 at a time, as when you tried to use both, 1 would stop running, then turned cold, which is not good for 10 people. Stained bleached towels, thick dust everywhere. Visible mouse traps, which doesn't help you sleep at night, but it is that noisy from the back of the apartments, with the clubs music booming till 3 am, you don't get that much sleep anyway. Problems with the boiler leaking, which tbf the host did help me sort out. Front door left open by the owners in the opposite the apartments. Eco toilet is a joke, having to run the tap to fill the toilet cistern. Scruffy entrance, stunk of cigarette smoke, and tab ends all over, which made our hall and landing stink. It really is a shame, because it could be a lovely place, but needs a lot of work doing to it.

Property was very clean, in a great location and had everything we needed. Communication was also great, with the host giving us recommendations for restaurants & bars in the city centre which is only a short walk away. Great value for money considering you're bang in the centre of Birmingham. Large rooms were perfect for our hen party. Will be booking again if we ever decide to come back to Birmingham! Definitely recommend.
