The Khayabaan - Your Fully Equipped Air-Conditioned Serviced Apartments in city centre

Many positive things: 1.The availability of cook for preferred breakfast and other meals was excellent. 2. Entire apartment was very comfortable for family stay. 3. Hosts were very cooperative and available anytime. 4. Host arranged very helpful taxi driver who acted like a guide.

1. I would suggest that time of breakfast availability should be 6 AM instead of 8 AM, because tourists generally leave early on their expeditions. 2. Streets near location get dark and very quite after evening so not lively surroundings after sunset.

A cosy 2 bedroom apartment with large bed size, comfortable mattress, good sleep quality. We were given apartment no.301 on second floor. The cleanliness of rooms, toilets and dining area was impeccable. The location is in a quire residential area which is 3km from Lal Chowk. There is enough parking within the gate of this multi apartment house with a well maintained lawn. Both bedrooms are Air conditioned ( although we didn't use it). The caretaker Mr Vikas is very polite and forthcoming to help.

Although facilities like Television, and oven are mentioned in the booking but these were not available. The cook top is present but no LPG cylinder was there ( although we were told that icylinder will be made available if needed, we didn't need to cook so we didn't ask for it). The breakfast is very basic ( first day bread and Omelette and second day Plain Parantha with egg).

Service

We loved the silence of neighbourhood. Their garden was very nice and we enjoyed the garden too. We were just two of us. Excellent place for a family who want to cook and stay for sometime.

We would have loved if we could buy dinner from them. You have to go few kilometres for proper restaurants. this is an absolute residential area. the place seems closer to a mosque and there we prayers very late and very early in the night and morning

Rooms were very nice

There was a power cut, and the backup was not available for almost an hour

The owner is a cultured educated person and very easy going which enhances the experience. The serviced apartment is well located to attractions in Srinagar, J&K. The apartment has all modern amenities, hot water, fast WiFi, comfy beds with electric blankets, nice eating area. A nice garden in front to relax n enjoy the sun. Close by to shopping area and walk away from Lal Chowk. You can cook your own meals or order in-house. The owner provides airport n station pick up drop, taxi for local n outstation sightseeing. Highly recommended apartment for couples, families in Srinagar.
