Neromai Cave Luxury Villas

The property was stunning but the host was even more exceptional. Our flight was delayed and we expected to arrive at HER after midnight. During our layover to Crete, we discovered that our rental car reservation was inadvertently cancelled. I was in touch with the host (who was already willing to accommodate our late arrival by meeting us on property after midnight) who offered to call rental companies on our behalf to see if he could secure a new reservation for us. When that didn't happen and our flight was about to take off, he offered to pick us up from the airport himself! Little did we realize that the airport was an hour+ away from the property (something to keep in mind but it didn't matter to us because the property is central to other areas on the island that we visited). We couldn't believe how thoughtful and kind he was to pick us up so late in the night! On top of that, the next morning, he drove us to Rethymno for us to get a rental car. Just unbelievable! Even if that hadn't happened, we would definitely recommend this property. We rented the Superior Villa but all are so beautiful. The kitchen was totally equipped with more than we needed, the interior was beautifully decorated, the A/C and fans worked well, the washer was convenient, the beds comfortable, and the outdoor showers were an added bonus. The exterior space is like out of a magazine. The views were breathtaking and peaceful, the pool was modern, and the outdoor patio area was comfortable and private. The whole stay felt indulgent and upscale. On top of that, we were welcomed with a fruit basket, bottle of wine, and during our stay, we even received a delicious homemade bundt cake. The host also developed a digital visitor's guide that had great recommendations. Do not hesitate to book this property. Since it is tucked away in the hills, you will need a car and allot for time to get to places. But trust me, the views, property, and hospitality are worth it!

Dreaming! Neromai villas, located in a stunning region of Crete, gave my family the most relaxing and stylish holiday in years. The peace & tranquility in a James Bond style setting , with easy access to the best beaches and shopping in Crete. Yes you need car hire, but from its central location high up in the silence of the mountain, you have access to the main road in less than 5 mins, with Rethymon old Town 20 mins away and the crystal clear beaches in the mid South 25 mins away - you are staying in a Villa that feels fit for the ancient Greek gods. Everything is top spec, finished so well and the hosts attention to detail and support is second to none. Honestly don't know why I'm writing this, as I should keep it quiet - as one of Cretes best kept secrets!

Superfast wifi! - meant our teenage daughter was too excited to be on her phone! Couldn't find a fault.

Booking this villa was such a good call. It was a great spot for checking out the beaches in the north and south of Rethymno, and we even made it to Chania. The pictures don't do it justice; it's way better in person and also we loved the view! So peaceful! We got to explore the traditional villages nearby, which made for a more authentic experience. The staff were super helpful, and the villa is in a perfect spot—close to everything but still private and peaceful. Highly recommend!
