Riverside Apartment with Parking 1 Mile from Town Centre

All in all, it is a nice flat. It is clean and the side view from the balcony is nice. The decor was modern and chic, and the space was spacious with good sound proof, we never hear anything from neighbours, which making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was perfect for exploring the town, with easy access to groceries (10 mins walk to lidl and tesco) and many local attractions, the natural reserve and the walk along the canal is fabulous, and those are only 15-30 mins walks/short drive away. We brought our bikes, however it might not suitable for leisure/easy bike ride because of hills. The host Leon is very kind and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

There are some small problems during our stay, the freezer was full of ice so that the freezer door doesn't close properly. The curtain rod disconnect from the wall, the toilet panel was missing, the bush near the parking space is massive. On the day of check-out, there is no hot water for morning shower. I'm sure the host will sort this out, those problems doesn't affect our trip too much.

Great location, modern clean apartment, helpful host, met all our needs so very happy with our stay.

Maidstone itself was great and the host was helpful by offering us alternative accommodation or a refund as the apartment was not so great given the price! We could have stayed at a budget hotel which serves food for roughly the same price!

This was sold as a riverside apartment with river views, in fact you could not see a river at all as it was a short walk away - mislead. Window was broken, toilets were not clean and the TV couldn’t find the broadband network whatever we did. The main shower had no shower curtain and only a hand held shower head which was difficult at best as it was not a wet room - water everywhere if you are not very careful etc, etc ….
