The apartment has a direct view of the beach and easy access to swimming pool. Apartment sleeps 8 people easily and has washing machine (no dryer though). As an Australian traveller, I don't think international travellers should stay here though - see my comments below. There's a restaurant downstairs that sells decent food for lunch. Pool facilities are good.

IMPORTANT: The host asked for a 200RM deposit into their bank account a few hours before check in otherwise wouldn't provide check-in info. This means you need to stop at their bank beforehand. Host replies to messages until you've checked out then becomes hard to reach and doesn't refund the deposit easily (in my case it has been 10 days and they aren't replying anymore and earlier said they aren't sure how to transfer me the money since I'm not Malaysian and don't have Touch'n'go and claimed they have issues paying foreign bank accounts). So deposits aside (don't expect to get it back if you aren't Malaysian), the apartment and building is very aged and wasn't that clean. There are little tiny bugs in the kitchen. There is nowhere to dry your clothes (when asked Host about clothes racks they ignored me). 1 of the large beds is ROCK HARD (Not exaggarating). The towels felt old too. Oh the couch in the living room is also hard and flat and needs replacing. The place needs about 3000-4000 RM ($1000-1500) to be up to scratch but seems like the owner doesn't want to spend a dollar on it. If the host responds to this review, don't believe them. I've been trying to message them for days to resolve things and they simply ignore. Have reported them to customer service and will be taking it even further legally if they continue dodging and withholding money for no reason. Other reviewers mentioned same issues I have mentioned and 1 even said that the host told them that they won't refund deposit UNTIL they see the review. So don't believe the good reviews, most have probably been blackmailed by the host. I expect the host to try to punish me for this honest review by stealing my deposit however I pray that this review costs them more than 200 in the long run. Don't steal from your guests and stick to your word. Advise everyone to avoid this place. Find another apartment and another host.

Great stay! Clean, tidy and comfortable environment. Nice seaview and easy access to beach. The unit has everything we need — towel, fridge, washing machine.

The homestay is just opposite the beach. The view was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The host was friendly. I really enjoyed my stay.

Comfy and clean homestay with a great sea view. Just a short walk to beach and pool. Quiet and relaxing surrounding. Would come again!

Can improve on toilet clealiness and change the iron board cover (the current one is old, thin and already detached from the board). Other than that, all good!
