Stylish Tiny House with Mountain Views & Private Courtyard

It's a really cosy and well located house with all the amenities you need. My partner and I could easily cook ourselves a meal with all the appliances provided and we enjoyed the charm of the tiny fire in the house. Huge plus to the really helpful service (refilling any utilities we needed) and detailed responses by the staff.

The tiny fire in the house made opening the bedroom window uncomfortable -- the air would get quite smokey. Being a tiny house, the bed area was a little cramped vertically (can't sit up). Space wise the rest of it was okay. Wifi was unusable for some reason, I only got 0.8 Mbps.

Great location and great facilities. The outdoor area is a gem and it was really comfortable and well kept. We did washing which we needed to do and were ably to cook some meals there. We have never stayed in a tiny house before but this was exceptional and would recommend highly staying here. We will be back.

The only drawback is the ladder to the upstairs bedroom - it is steep but given it is a tiny house it can be a challenge at first but you get used to it.

Eco-friendly dishwashing detergent, shampoo and conditioner. The property manager seemed attentive and reached out in 3 separate emails during our one-night stay to provide information and check if we had any concerns.

Our stay here was a little disappointing, and I'm sad to say I wouldn’t recommend it. The space felt tired and not particularly clean. The bedding was a concern—there were stains on the duvet cover, stray hairs on the sheets (not confident they were clean tbh), and the linens themselves were old, thin, and pilled. The towels also had an unpleasant damp smell, possibly due to improper washing or storage. The loft area didn’t appear to have been thoroughly swept/vacuumed, with visible dirt on the floor, which isn’t surprising given how tricky it would be to vacuum up there. The bathroom was small and functional but had a worn-out shower curtain with rusting hooks. Overall the space felt a little neglected and unloved. Also for those with larger vehicles; beware the parking situation is difficult! The allocated spot is very tight, requiring multiple maneuvers if the neighbouring property is occupied. While the concept of a tiny house can be charming, the suburban setting detracts from it. There is little privacy, with neighbouring properties very close by, and noise from nearby residents is noticeable. Keeping the blinds down at all times is necessary for privacy, which affects the experience. For the price we expected a little better. For just $20 more, we had stayed the previous night in a spacious, clean one-bedroom resort apartment in Wanaka with stunning 180-degree mountain views. Given the condition of this property and its surroundings, it felt overpriced. This place has potential, but it needs a thorough deep clean, fresh linen, better maintenance, and a reality check on pricing. If you're considering staying here, I’d suggest first exploring other options—it's possible you will find better value elsewhere.
