Swimming Pool and the host was too friendly. The View point was amazing

Everything was a dislike.

Location was very remote. No route guidance when called the hotel owner. No pickup drop facility as it was very remote inside the forest. It was nightmare driving a sedan on the small one-way hilly road. Stay was in mid of a forest and staffs were unresponsive if we call them and nobody were caring. Food was pathetic. Price was very very costly. The owner took more than the price showed in booking.com. Booking.com showed 9k and the owner took 11k. Bedsheet and bed covers were stinking and not cleaned.

Me and my wife stayed at the cottage... It was a wonderful experience... Mr. Dion (owner and manager) was very welcoming and accommodating and so was his wife (Ms. Anju)... The lunch was normal kerala food but what was given was extremely delicious... RICE, BUTTER MILK, FISH CURRY, CHICKEN 65 AND THORRAN.. There is no extra curricular activities to do... But if you want to be away from the hustle of city life and just state at the sunset, you can go to sunset valley... They live upto their name... The last 1 km drive is a hazzle of you've a Honda city or a sedan... But it was worth the drive...

The final 1 km leading to the resort from the SMT HOSPITAL direction... But if you drive slowly and carefully then it's worth the drive...

Friendly and quite informative owner couple Deol n Anju , they will guide you properly how to reach the property, Friendly n hard working staff especially Ajmal, Excellent peaceful tranquil location , no sound or air pollution. Food is tasty and very reasonably priced . They are ready to arrange whatever we ask . Only 3 cottages nested in woods, you rarely see any other human being , food is served at cottage except breakfast , bonfire barbecue and music will be arranged at a specific location at extra price …. Cheery on top is A Beautiful waterfall flowing through the property not approachable by outsiders . We really really had a very great memorable time , 4 days after returning also moments n joy are circling in our minds .

As property is in a village , approach road is little rough , which is not in hands of the property owners . This property is not for people with bad knees or heart problems as one has to climb down steps to reach cottage and up steps to come out of property

Great views, some of the staff were lovely and the food was really nice traditional Keralan cuisine.

The property is really run down, our room (king room with balcony) was dirty, hole in bathroom wall, broken plastic chair, stained bedsheets and cockroach in the bed. We only stayed 1 of the 3 nights we booked, owner was really aggressive and did not offer any apology or discount. It’s extremely over priced and more of a hostel, not a hotel. The waterfalls are less than 1km away down some steps. Nothing else to do without a car journey.
