Duclos (Private Ensuite room) at Bicester Heritage

Lovely quirky room with history and lots of character

Clean and close to where we wanted to go .

Check in at 4pm seemed late and out by 11am seemed early .Most are check in at 3pm latest and out 12noon Asked not to drink in bed but only one seat provided other then bed .I literally stood up drinking my morning coffee..not great . Bed not very comfortable Would benefit greatly from a small fridge or drinks cooler . Taking shoes off before you get in room …. Take litter with us etc unusual especially as being charged £35 for cleaning room .

Gated location for this property is good and you feel secure. Car parked very nearby and no issues at all. It feels a little weird at first coming into what seems like a old airfield / RAF base but its very sweet and very cool too. Lots to see and do with a few cafe's and retail ( mostly to do with cars etc ) around.

Room is good BUT a bit stuffy, no air con and not really any access to windows that can be opened. On a very warm night would probably be a little too much. A fan is in the room which kind of helps. But not if you are used to cool air conned rooms.. Other than that great......

Bed maybe not as good as other hotel rooms we have stayed I

location was fascinating. bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed.

took a while to work out where it was on the site.

decor and location was very different.

the radiator leaked but nobodies fault.

Great room but a long way to get any food
