"Amazing, very relaxing"

This was a beautiful piece of property that is very quiet yet only a couple of minutes from nice restaurants and shopping. The pond was amazing! It was so relaxing on the screened front porch. They just got a fresh load of sand for the volleyball court so it is ready for fun. Would definitely recommend to stay here and we will be going back!

I Loved the house and all the activities, and how we were close to everything. The care taker Mr. Matt was very helpful and was always there when we needed anything. Very nice man.

The only thing that I can say that I was disappointed in was the bed. It was very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on.

The entire property is fenced in with an access gate. There is a small pond with a groomed beach area and lots of other areas to hang out in the shade too! The lock on the door of the dwelling is a numeric touch screen that was easy to use. They have giant tortoises in a pasture nearby, lots of shade, firepits, outdoor lighting, cornhole, horseshoes, etc. The Casita was great for me alone, as I was just looking for a place to sleep and park the boat. Dual futons, indoor and outdoor TVs, a little porch area, and its in a large wooded neighborhood within 5 minutes of Lake Conroe. I'd like to return with friends and stay in the larger rental house within the property. The neighborhood actually has a little private boat launch, and the owner was nice enough to let me use the ramp pass for the weekend.

My only suggestion would be a few muffling pads on the frame of the screen door, as it tends to slam shut. Not really a problem at all, just constructive feedback! I typically make an effort to be as quiet as possible when I'm in a quiet place (its a habit) so the screen door caught my attention when I let it bang shut.

It was a great, relaxing weekend for the 2 of us! The pond was awesome, the rope swing and slide. So many fun things to do there. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond to texts. Also, the tortoises were so cool. Fed them watermelon, they were happy! Will be back!
