Host Gaetano was unfailingly helpful and very prompt in answering any queries. The equipment in the kitchen was modern and clean, up to date TV, and good storage space in the bedroom. Nice to have a safe too! Also, there was only a couple of steps to access the apartment, and there were security screens on the windows, so I felt quite secure.

Excellent location (round the corner from Ursino Castle). Property very clean and obviously newly decorated. Host very responsive: provided a list of restaurants and things to do in Catania. He allowed us to check-in early!

Because of the stairs within the property not really suitable for those with mobility problems or small children. Some might find the church bells intrusive (although we liked them). Never got to grips with the fancy coffee machine.....

We loved our stay here, the property was so well equipped and close to everything we needed including the historic centre. What made the stay even more enjoyable was the amazing hospitality of the hosts Gaetano and Monica who went over and above to make our stay amazing. I really liked the location, because the house is on a very quiet street, yet just a couple of minutes away from the bustling city center. All major sights are within a convenient and short walk. Also, Pizza Borselino, the departure point of the beach buses, is also just a couple of minutes away. Right at the corner of the street, there is a very good bakery and a fruit stand. The apartment has a very clever, loft-like design, which is very comfortable. All the amenities and kitchen utensils were there, so preparing meals was easy.

Hosts are awesome with thoughtful local recommendations, quick responses to questions and friendly demeanor. Apartment is walking distance to most attractions in catania and clean.

As mentioned in the description, the apartment is a bit loud for light sleepers or doing work.

The location is great. You're staying in a very sleekly-renovated building that overlooks the local church. The host is super attentive and offers places to eat and things to do based on what you're looking for.

On Sunday morning, those church bells *really* want you to know that Mass is about to start.
