The room was clean, and the location seemed convenient. The provided toiletries were a nice touch.

The stay was extremely uncomfortable due to the lack of central heating, which was not disclosed in the property description. Despite setting the air conditioner to the maximum temperature (30°C), the room remained freezing, with indoor temperatures feeling no higher than 5–10°C. Three duvets were already placed on the bed, suggesting the hosts knew the heating was inadequate. Even with the extra duvets and wearing several layers of clothing, I was still cold. The shared bathroom was equally freezing. There was a small wall-mounted heater, but no remote control to operate it, making it impossible to use the bathroom comfortably or take a shower. On top of this, the host was upset that I booked through Booking.com due to the commission fees. He insisted I pay in cash and delayed the process in various ways. First, he didn’t show up at the agreed time to collect the money and responded to my messages half a day later, saying he was sick. The next day, he sent his wife to collect the payment, but the card reader (POS) was not charged. This led to another meeting on the third day. During this meeting, I felt like I was falling into a trap. I owed 300 euros, but when the lady entered the amount into the card reader, it displayed 600 euros in a small, barely noticeable section. When I pointed it out, she corrected it, but on the next attempt, the card reader displayed 1200 euros. I had to be extremely vigilant to ensure I paid the correct amount of 300 euros. Although Booking.com refunded 90 euros due to the heating issues, the entire experience was stressful, unprofessional, and unacceptable.
