The dreadful, plastic coated mattresses The huge, bright green security lights in bedrooms. Way, way too bright. My clients had a bad night sleep because of this. Bunk beds which were not solid enough for an adult to turn over without waking up person below. Hot water ran out. Not enough for everyone to have hot shower. None left to wash up in the morning after breakfast either. The push button showers were not great either. Not good value for money. More expensive than Plas Isa hostel in Dolgellau which included breakfast. Also more than the Glan Aber hotel in Betws which included breakfast too.

There are a couple of maintenance issues in the room. (broken waste on the sink (water turned off because of this) Also the ceiling light stays green (probably fire regs) all night, which is pretty annoying as whole room glows. Take a blindfold to sleep.
GBWe received a friendly welcome and were shown to a spacious and clean room with three beds. The bathroom was shared but only with one other room so that was no problem. We used the kitchen for an evening meal and breakfast and it had everything we needed. The shop below was very handy!
The only minor issue was a noisy shower but we were told about it beforehand.
