Cozy 1-bedr in the centre near Old Town with private parking

Not recommended. The host showed a very irresponsible attitude. Only two hours before check-in, we were informed that there was no water in the apartment (and later we were told there was no electricity either). An alternative apartment was offered, but it did not meet our needs at all. As a result, we had to search for a new place to stay at the last minute. The host was almost impossible to reach and provided very little communication, so we had to contact Booking.com customer service for assistance. We ended up wasting more than three hours dealing with the situation and arranging alternative accommodation. Overall, this was a very stressful and disappointing experience.

I was left stranded outside the unit with no contact at all until Booking (also not very helpful) contacted them. They said the power had been out, but I observed the electric gate operate. Anyway, that doesn't keep them from responding to my numerous contact attempts in the days before. They offered another apartment, but I declined and went elsewhere. That cost me more time and money. Felt scammy.

The location is great.

We had problems with parking, but it was resolved. Big minuses: no hot water on the first night and terrible canal smell.

Clean place. Near to old town. Responsive and helpful host. Silent place.
