Penthouse in the heart of Bari with terrace

Great Central location.

Overpriced for the standard of accommodation.

Location, cleanless.

I paid city tax that is mention in booking but when i arrived at the hotel the owner said to me that i have to make an additional payment that is tourist tax. Tourist tax is not mention in booking. For one night we have to pay 2 euro each person as a tax of tourist that i never heard before. Be careful, don't be fooled, ask the owner about this tax.

The location was excellent, walking distance of Bari Centrale station and close to sea and old town. It is also very close to supermarkets and the larger shops in Bari. The outside terrace of the apartment was what sold the penthouse studio to us. We really enjoyed using the terrace most afternoons and eating there in the evenings.

It was misrepresented as luxury. The studio apartment was “tired” with chipped floor tiles, chipped cheap furniture and the bed had two distinct dips which did not bode well for a good night’s sleep. Also the shower tray was not properly sealed, there was also some mould around the base. Sink plugs did not retain water. There was adequate cutlery and crockery but few cooking pots and pans. We did not find the toaster which is listed in the details. Also there were no instructions on how to use any appliances. We Were there for 12nights and we wanted what was stated as “luxury “. This studio apartment is overpriced for what is clearly not luxury. The Domus team were helpful and fairly prompt in helping with enquiries.

Brilliant

The location was excellent, near to old town, restaurants and cafes. The apartment was bigger than had expected, had everything we needed and the terrace was very large and excellent. The hosts very extremely helpful and issued information on the area prior to our arrival on places to visit, restaurants and gelateria, together with info on how to get to and from.

I always try my best to be honest about properties I stay in because it can help other people in their search for accommodation. I have stayed in many luxury apartments and Sadly this is definitely not one of them. It is a studio apartment which is small and not luxurious. For example, Poor quality furnishings. Chip board units and ikea dresser, etc Kitchen units badly chipped and of poor quality. Flooring cracked and chipped. Tiny Shower has black mould in it. Fridge & oven not cleaned and hair in the bathroom units also not cleaned. There is no microwave and the tv is very small on the other side of the wall from the bed. There was an Empty box of dishwasher tablets and washing machine tabs. I Asked if we could have one tablet but was told to purchase at nearby store The Terrace is lovely and the location very good but that is what you are paying for. They are carrying out building works on the roof that started at 8am. Very noisy. I was disappointed with this accommodation. If I had known what I discovered I would definitely not have booked.

Locarion was great. Terrace as weill. Appt is nice a new euquiped.

Everything was OK - could recomend

All amenities needed: dishwasher, air conditioner with heating function, washing machine, fully equipped kitchen. The terrace is super nice and spacious. Everything is as you see in pictures.

Wifi is unstable and on a slower side.
