Catherine 5 bedroom house

Nothing other than location which was only ok cos it suited our needs.

We stayed at 37 Cathrine street Crewe on Saturday 17th August for 1 night. Despite trying to make contact with the Uber and his/her emergency contact at the time of our arrival no one ever returned our calls or answered our msgs. Dreadful customer service. We were very dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the accommodation. The floors were filthy and my grandkids feet were black as a result of walking around the hard floors inside. There was no clear wifi information available and no tv aerial. As a result we had to use our own data to work the tv. We’re unable to connect to any wifi promised in the advertisement. Only one of the tv remote controls had batteries. There was rubbish left under the sofa and a broken chair in the front lower floor room. Curtains were hanging off the rails and the bed head in the top far bedroom was also at an angle and looked unstable. There was only one (almost empty) soap dispenser for all 3 toilets and not all toilets had toilet roll. The bathroom upstairs was dirty. The sink full of black matter and the shower hadn’t been cleaned properly since previous guests. There was cobwebs in the lower tv room toilet complete with resident spider. The tea and coffee making facilities were empty and the sugar had a previously damp spoon left inside with crusted sugar caked to it. The coffee was black and solid and unusable. As a result we had a poor experience staying at your accommodation and contacted the owner requesting some kind of refund but heard absolutely nothing back.

It was very spacious and clean Good for a short stay

The apartment was clean and the rooms with amenities as top notch..two bathrooms downstairs was not necessary 😔.

The fact I had to pay some deposit and it took me having to call booking.com to mediate for a refund. While they wanted there deposit they messaged but didn't reply my request for a refund. Eventually got my deposit back after 6 days.

clean house, recently renovated

Close to the train station and located in a quiet street. The house was spotlessly clean with all the facilities you need for your stay. The beds were so comfy, best sleep I've had in ages and the showers were fantastic with plenty of fresh towels. Everything was positive about the accommodation. Big, spacious house with 5 good sized warm bedrooms, far better than being cooped up in one hotel room. Fantastic value for money for the price of the stay for 4 of us.

There were no negatives at all with our stay in the property.
