Da der Sturm fegte waren wir eine zeit ohne Strom. Doch der Eigentümer brachte uns Lampen.

The view

We were staying for three nights and on arrival there was a quarter of a roll of toilet paper and no spare, a coffee machine with no pods, no hot water in the kitchen sink or bathroom sink, no sugar in pantry (but there was instant coffee and teabags) and no dishwashing liquid, only tablets for the dishwasher. I messaged the owner and was told that it was a self catering accommodation and all these things are to be provided by us and not the owner. I have stayed in many self catering places around the world and never had to provide any of these items myself. When I checked the booking.com inclusions it actually states that toilet paper IS Included. We then had to find a shop and buy toilet paper and sugar🥹 As for there being no hot water, there was a note in the instruction book to say that there is an ON Switch somewhere in the cottage but we shouldn’t have to worry because it is ALWAYS on so there should be hot water all the time. When we looked for this switch as we were leaving on the third day we found it and it was actually off🥹 Another thing is there are so many switches in this cottage to turn on and off before you use anything that it made it quite unrelaxing to be there. Water pressure in the shower was non existent as well so don’t try and wash your hair! Now I know why there were no recent reviews in this cottage when I was researching. View was to die for though and the positive experience ended there.

Fantastic views, great fire place. Loads of additional accessories in the property and we loved the little extras such as salt that you may not have either you. Owner was very helpful.

Could do with a washing machine.
