Wonderful historic building in the heart of Galway. Easy walk to everything-pubs, shopping, cathedral, museum, River Corrib

While I wasn’t bothered by it, the smoke alarm in the ceiling over the bed in my room did have a tiny led light that flashed every 30 seconds or so. It might be an issue for someone photo sensitive.

Excellent location. Comfortable bed and clean room.

Breakfast was only ok. Not a great selection available and prepared rolls/burritos were dried out and left overly long in the warmer. There was a limited select selection of other hot food available. All the food and coffee was difficult to access when any other person was ahead of you. Having stayed there previously I felt that the standard had dropped significantly.
