However, it wasn’t included in the price, as is often the case. Additionally, it was quite expensive (50k + 10k for tea).

Beautiful homestay in a small village in the rice fields. We loved all the outdoor spaces to relax and read or have a beer, including our balcony with the lovely view. We were able to rent scooters from the homestay. Very nice staff.

The location was great for us because there were no tourists around, just a local village. However, without a scooter we would have felt quite isolated. Bicycles were available though as an option to get around.

Wonderfully warm and friendly family. Lovely location, wish i could stay longer.

Bathroom: Doesn’t have hot shower, the water pressure is extremely low. There were plenty Spider webs in the bathroom

Really nice people running the Homestay. They organised our bus to Hanoi and cooked really good the food. The room was clean and had a great view.

The host was spectacular, so so friendly and accommodating - she actively went out of her way to ensure we had the best time. The views are absolutely incredible, no words to describe it

Nothing, it's all so amazing!!

If you want the true experience of a house in the middle of the countryside in an authentic village, this is the place for you. The house is very simple and basic, the room is very small and the mattress is the same as the one the locals sleep on: low and very hard, but after a few nights you get used to it and can sleep well. The owners are very nice, it is a big challenge to communicate with them but if you use the translator everything is easier, we had a really good time with them. The people in the village are incredible, I don't know how but we were invited to a wedding.

It was nice to have the free bikes service but maybe they would need more maintenance
