Villa Kikay by Villa Plus

Location was great, really relaxed atmosphere

Loved the pool area very hot blessed with the weather

Pool needs an umbrella with base Bed sheets duvets throws etc al need replacing Plus they should provide loo roll for 2k for a week it needs ckean fresh smell when you walk in i never got that but place was clean find the villa needs a woman's touch 😀 bathrooms need a good touch up replace mirrors etc door on one bathroom just stoock to floor needs to be removed and sanded could be dangerous

We arrived at 10pm to the villa to check in and there was already a family in the house. After a stressful call to the out of hours local support, it was established that the other family were the victims of a scam and our booking was valid. As it was so late and we both had kids that needed sleep, we agreed that we'd all stay in the villa that night and try figure things out in the morning. The local support lady, Louise,was brilliant throughout this, really professional. The next day she organised different accomodation for the family for the rest of their holiday and got the cleaners back in to this villa to change bedding and get fresh towels for us. The villa itself if really good. We've been staying in villas in Lanzarote for over 10years now and this is up there with some of the best we've stayed in. It's very comfortable inside and outside, lots of room, kitchen is laid out well. TV area is great for relaxing in the evening. The pool is ideal for what you need and the patio/terrace area is a proper suntrap. The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the Commercial Centre and Beach and it's a really quiet residential area. The airport is nearby and while the planes can be loud you don't really notice them after a while.

There was very little kitchen cleaning items, just a few tea towels and small bottle of washing up liquid, a bottle of bleach spray or cleaning spray would have made cleaning up after cooking a lot better. Also this is the first time we've ever had to buy toilet roll when renting a villa. For 2000e you'd nearly expect enough there to get you through the week. A small gripe but still noteworthy.

Clean and well equipped. Lovely to have a pool.

The WiFi did not work. A small parasol would have been handy at the pool area.
