Central location with garden & equipped kitchen

The accommodation was clean, relatively quiet, with good facilities and a lovely design that brings peace and tranquility. The green garden that could be seen from the beautiful windows added even more peace and light. I liked that there were also spices besides salt and pepper. And that there was a tap water filter. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, you just need to bring yourself and your suitcase. The location is also close to all the shops and restaurants you are interested in, in our case vegan restaurants. The owner was attentive and nice to every request, when there were problems with the air conditioner in the bedroom, she immediately invited someone to fix it.

We liked everything, the only thing that was strange was the oven, which turned out to be a microwave. So we couldn't bake what we had planned.

Nicely decorated comfy flat within walking distance of the city centre. Lovely view on a small garden with a beautiful loquat tree. Weather was changeable during our stay so the flat was a nice refuge from the rain showers. Quiet place and comfy beds so we slept really well. Perfect for a couple. Warmly recommended.

I have stayed in many many apartments over the years and as a discerning guest, I do often have high expectations and therefore research a lot before I book any accommodation. I have to admit on this occasion my expectations were exceeded by both the host and the apartment. Both were exceptional. The apartment was more than I had expected from location to decor and style. The outside space just added to the overall experience. The host has great taste in style and furnishings and everything was provided that was needed. Any questions that were had, were responded to immediately however there was no need to ask many, as the apartment served all our needs. The host clearly places themselves in the shoes of their guests. Well done and how refreshing to be looked after so well. We shall be returning very very soon. We enjoyed so much the walk into Porto Centro Historic and to the River Douro and also enjoyed the walk back (often in the small hours of the morning) but knew when we returned, we could be able to relax and unwind and feel like we were home. Porto of course speaks for itself, but it needs reviews like this to ensure this apartment becomes the location of choice for those arriving in Porto.

What could have been better? Absolutely nothing and take it from me, who is often very critical when there is a need to be. On this occasion....I have nothing to say.

Beautiful apartment with really good facilities, cool retro furniture, lots of character. High ceilings made it feel extra spacious. Very clean, everything worked well. All the equipment you could want. Nice south facing garden and terrace.
