Lund - Exellent Apartment

Great host -.welcoming, hospitable, friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for Angela. We were treated like members of the family. Spent a lovely evening chatting to Angela and her friend, Priscilla. Easy access to Tromso centre from the apartment. The 24 bus runs to the centre and the airport. Local shops a short walk away. Hope to return one day. Would highly recommend.

Owner had not made clear how to access the right apartment, though the name Lund Excellent apartment was a useful clue in the end.

It’s a good location and that’s about it

We couldn’t get hold of the owner to let us in we were outside in the snow and dark for long time, we rang / emailed / buzzed numerous times. Finally came down to let us in and as we got into the apartment it was clear they had forgotten we were coming as the bed was all screwed up and unmade. We then felt uncomfortable staying in the room as was unsure if clean. We got little sleep and left first thing in morning checking into a hotel which cost hundreds of pounds

Very guest friendly host. Want s to make you re stay as comfortable as possible. It s a nice place to stay, close to the airport. He also does tours with the guests. Unfortunate we didn’t have time to do this.

It was a complete waste of money. The owner didn't communicate about the arrival time. Had to call him in front of the building a few times. He was drunk, and we had no idea we had to stay in the same apartment with him. We explained that we are very tired from the car trip and wanna have a good sleep. Instead, he had people over and drinking. The doorbell rang thru out the night several times. By 3 a.m., we gave up trying to sleep and started to look another place to stay. It felt very unsafe to stay there because they were all drunk. I also complained about this to the booking and hoped we could get the money back, but the owner refused. Before leaving around 6 a.m., we told him we couldn't stay here another night. He was so drunk he didn't even understand what we said to him. Very unpleasant.

It was really clean.

We did stay with the host and they weren't quiet enough during the night ( slapping doors , loud , etc ) and in our last night they had a huge fight and it wasn't a propper space for our safety , that's why we had to leave and book another hotel room for one night which costed us aprox 350 euro . Although the property is really nice , i would not recommend it !

Brilliant location (right next to bus stops and airport), bedroom was clean, host was friendly and helpful. He provided towels, blankets, a list of recommendations and was always available to help. Balcony is a brilliant plus.

The bathroom sink wasn’t always the cleanest, unfortunately on the last night, the host had guests over and I was woken up several times due to noise/ guests throwing up.
