Family Gathering Bungalow

It was perfectly clean. The garden was lovely. Perfectly set up for a family.

The mattress was a little soft but that may just be our preference. The house was lovely.

Good location for where we needed to be. It’s good if you drive as it is a short drive to the town centre. Bedrooms comfortable. Kitchen was spacious and had lots of bits to make your stay easier!

Outside furniture is tired and could do with replacing and making good again. Conservatory area could do with some sprucing up. Can see where there was some water damage. For 2 small families (4 adults and 2 kids) it wasn’t good as only one bathroom. Perhaps better for one family. (Should have checked this one out first!) Didn’t like the bags on the bed asking to strip beds and put in the bags. Was the first thing we saw! (Don’t mind doing it but a message would be fine)

Comfortably furnished. Plenty of room. Nice kitchen.

No real dislikes. Clothes dryer-washer combo would have been better for us simply because it was raining very hard and we were there only 1 night. However, nice to have a washing machine!

Lovely spacious and comfortable accommodation. Great garden and location. Very well equipped house.

We were allowed to check in early - thank you very much!! the terrace and garden were a dream, and the cosy sofas in the living room. good breakfast place in the riverside park and good pub for eating out nearby.

We would have needed more sockets 😄.

Outside bins were full from previous guests. It's advertised as accessible but the drive was too steep to get a wheelchair up and down. There was a step to get into the bungalow so couldn't get in with a wheelchair. There was a step to get into the conservatory and another to get out into the decking and several stars to get down into the garden so it isn't suitable for a wheelchair user.

The bungalow was nice with good bedroom facilities, bedding and towels but the kitchen and general lack of maintenance let it down.

The kitchen crockery and pans were chipped and dirty and there was a general lack of maintenance. It's a shame because it could be so much more welcoming if it was better maintened.
