Stylish and Modern Town Centre End-of Terrace Home

It was beautifully presented and immaculately clean. The location was great and central for Newton Abbot. Very comfortable and cosy and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend

Wasn’t anything not to like

Easy check in, clean and comfy house.

Its location, whilst convenient, its a street strewn with litter including discarded children's underwear, weeds, very unkempt road, its obviously always like that judging by the age of the litter and weeds. Its not a cottage, its a end of terrace house down a street with most the houses in need of repair, they should not call this a cottage as that conjures up something it isn't! Multiple emails requesting feedback is annoying as was the pre check in process you have to fill in on another site away from booking.com. Having booked via booking.com for many many properties over the years, this is the first time being asked to complete another pre check in with this owner, if you don't do it, they cancel the booking, not sure why booking.coms own check in processes are not good enough for this owner. Very difficult to get the water temperature correct in the shower.

The street on which the property was located. It was like arriving in a slum area. I was reluctant to enter the house after driving up the street only to realise there was nowhere to park to unload the car. As for the outdoor sitting area among the weeds. Words fail me.

This flat was charming, quiet, and clean. I felt right at home with the amenities provided and even the neighbors were sweet and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and I had everything I needed to enjoy my time in Newton Abbot

Location was important to us, and this couldn't be more central, yet it was still tucked away to avoid noise from bars. Lovely modern, clean, comfortable place with all the facilities we need.

It was clean and homely

My husband is over 6 feet, and he didn't fit in the bed, but because the bed has ends, he couldn't hang them over the end

Lemon cottage was a well decorated ,clean and comfortable little house . We found everything we needed for our stay - longe and dining room spacious and homely, kitchen appliances good and extras you always look for - foil , salt and pepper , cling film etc . The two bedrooms were well presented with such lovely clean white bedding and very comfortable mattresses. Also a hairdryer and curling wand and good supply of shower products in the bathroom which was also modern and clean - towels were lovely too !

Maybe a new frying pan with a better non stick coating and sharper bread knife? When we booked we were a little unsure about not having a parking space as it’s hard to visualise until you arrive but car park is literally no walk at all away . I think it was £5.70 for an all day ticket then free 6pm - 9 am so if we didn’t want an early start , just popped over to put 2 hr ticket on . Not a problem
