Excellent service and great location

A lovely apartment located in the old part of Porec. Perfect for exploring the tourist sights. The apartment was well-equipped with the essentials, clean and generally comfortable.

One of our party slept on a sofabed in the living area. Unfortunately it was not very comfortable but the bedroom was fine.

Great location if arriving by ferry and to walk around the old town. Nice sized room with lovely sea view. Our check in person was very friendly and helpful.

Very average quality bed and linens. Our room had a restaurant next door and although the double glazing stopped the main noise, there was a subtle constant high pitched sound that could be heard through the wall.

Modern kitchen, but bare, not even salt. No instructions, the little cardboard didn't have WiFi passwords. Payment was muddled. We got an emailed that it had been paid by credit card, but when I dropped off the keys in a rush to get to our early morning bus, receptionist ran often me saying we had an outstanding bill. True, they had only taken one night, but embarrassing, and nearly missed the bus. I had not seen it necessary to open all the attachments. So why not charge the second night the same, or even better, all at once?

What was particularly impressive to me was the good organization of our check-in. We left our car at the hotel's designated parking lot, located about 1.5 km from the hotel. From there, we were picked up by a small van and taken with our luggage to the Valamar Hotel, where we received the keys to the apartment. The apartment was one of the apartments that are external to the Valamar Riviera Hotel itself. Our apartment was on Sveti Mauro Street N 12 - a street that is located behind the hotel and the distance from the apartment to the hotel is less than 100 meters. The bellboy helped us with our luggage to the apartment. The apartment itself is in a typical old town building and consists of two bedrooms with a kitchenette, as well as two bathrooms! The place was relatively clean and good-looking. One of the things that was a minus was a slight, but still noticeable strange smell inside the living room and in one of the bathrooms. Maybe because of the not-so-good ventilation? Overall, a very pleasant stay and if we ever come back again, we would choose this place again.

It could consider replacing and enriching the kitchen utensils. Especially the forks and spoons need replacing. A more normal knife is also needed. Maybe a few wine glasses. Also, the pillows were too low and soft.

Amazing location and sea-side view. Large, confortable bed. I was there only one night, but it would work for longer stays too. Quick and uncomplicated check-in at a nearby hotel.

The bathroom sink is very small, but is probably due to it being in a historical building. The outside door is quite thin, so you can hear people on the stairway quite clearly.

Very convenient location in the old town. One apartment had a sea view. Rooms were modern and spacious, with good facilities, though only 1 of 2 had a kitchenette. Check in and check out were easy at the hotel reception, so no need to do it online. The receptionist walked us to our rooms.

We booked 2 apartments and were a little disappointed they were so far apart (a few minutes walk). Both were on upper floors with no lift , so be prepared to carry up your luggage.

Beautiful spot! Roberto was lovely and help us cook in the outdoor stove. We enjoyed all the terraces, and the views of the water.
